A former member of the National Mediation Board sued President Donald Trump over her firing.
Deirdre Hamilton alleged in her Monday complaintfiled in the US District Court for the District of Columbia that Trump disregard the law and established court precedent by firing her in October 2025.
The NMB hears and helps to resolve labor conflicts in the rail and airline industries. Hamilton is still listed as a current board member on the agency’s website.
