Airgas employees in Hawaii have joined a multi-state strike against the industrial supplier as both parties escalate tensions with legal claims of unlawful behavior.
Drivers and fillers who deliver industrial, medical, and specialty gases across Hawaii walked off the job Tuesday, extending the strike to 15 facilities in 11 states, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters said in a release. The work stoppage was sparked after the union said Airgas refused to bargain in good faith for a new collective bargaining agreement.
