Agriculture Giant Bunge to Cut Jobs Amid Headquarters Relocation

Bunge Ltd. will cut staff as part of a restructuring that will see the 201-year-old agricultural commodity trading giant relocate its headquarters, according to people familiar with the matter.

Only about a third of employees based in White Plains, New York, were offered a package to move to the new headquarters in St. Louis or another of Bunge’s global centers, said the people who asked not to be named because the information is private.

The agribusiness firm also plans to make changes to its operations in Geneva as part of a shift away from its regional structure, the people said. ...
