Agencies Launch Contractor Inquiries to Enforce Anti-DEI Order

Contractors will now be subject to information collection requests from the federal government to review compliance with an executive order that required them to adhere to new anti-DEI reporting clauses.

The government estimates more than 6,000 contractors annually will be newly required to submit data, according to Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council regulatory filings.

The change is part of President Donald Trump’s March executive order demanding that companies doing business with the government include clauses in contracts that renounce diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and provide agencies access to company records to show compliance.
