An AdventHealth hospital in Kansas and an emergency room nurse the hospital fired agreed to end a lawsuit alleging the nurse had faced a hostile work environment due to her skin color and national origin.
Plaintiff Natalie Moussa and the defendant, Advent Health South Overland Park Inc., filed a joint stipulation for dismissal with prejudice in the US District Court for the District of Kansas. The move comes soon after the parties informed the court they’d reached a settlement.
