Advantage Solutions Employees Secure $1.2 Million Wage Deal

A $1.2 million settlement between Advantage Solutions and more than 360 employees, who sued for overtime and missed breaks under the Fair Labor Standards Act and California law, received final court approval with few modifications.

Judge Laurel Beeler cut the requested lead plaintiff service award from $10,000 to $6,000 and reduced the other named plaintiffs’ awards from $3,000 to $2,000 after determining that they hadn’t spent enough time working on the case.

The employees were “customer development managers” for Advantage, responsible for managing and setting up in-store marketing for the company’s retail clients.
