ADP Must Face Fired Manager’s Mental Disability Bias Lawsuit

A former ADP Inc. manager can proceed with his disability discrimination and harassment suit stemming from his firing following the death of his brother.

Nathanael Rutledge alleged sufficient facts to support his claim that the payroll services company regarded him as mentally disabled, the US District Court for the Southern District of California ruled Thursday. It denied ADP’s motion to dismiss his harassment, wrongful termination, and emotional distress claims for the same reason.
