Vince Micone, one of the leaders overseeing the management and operations of the US Department of Labor, has been named acting secretary of labor.
The announcement was made via an update on the agency’s website shortly after President
Micone, most recently deputy assistant secretary for operations in the DOL’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, has worked in various positions throughout the federal government, according to his DOL biography.
