Accenture Federal Services Settles Hiring Bias Allegations (2)

Accenture Federal Services will pay $149,000 to settle allegations that its aptitude tests led to discrimination against black, Asian, and Hispanic job applicants, the Labor Department said.

The black and Asian applicants were discriminated on the basis of race, while the Hispanic applicants were discriminated on the basis of national origin, according to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs settlement. The document is dated Sept. 18 but was made public on Sept. 27.
