A federal appellate court panel appeared unlikely to revive a proposed class action by a group of White US citizens accusing Infosys Technologies Limited Inc. of illegally favoring South Asian and Indian job applicants and employees in hiring, promotions, and terminations.
At least two jurists on a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit seemed to disagree that a Wisconsin district judge erroneously excluded a key expert’s opinion that’s central to the plaintiffs’ class certification and summary judgment arguments regarding Bangalore, India-based Infosys’ allegedly unlawful employment practices through a visa program for foreign workers.
