Two purchasers of Tron Foundation‘s TRX digital asset successfully pleaded claims against the blockchain company and one of its co-founders, a federal court ruled in a proposed class action.
Corey Hardin and Chase Williams can proceed with federal and state claims for the offer and sale of unregistered securities, Judge Vernon S. Broderick said Wednesday for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
But claims based on alleged prospectus misstatements must be dismissed on grounds of timeliness and standing, Broderick said.
