Ondo Says Another Goldman Alumni Joins Crypto Firm as Risk Head

Ondo Finance Inc., a decentralized platform focusing on tokenizing assets on blockchains, said in a statement that it hired Chris Tyrrell as chief risk and compliance officer.

• Tyrrell was mostly recently chief compliance officer at the Citadel Securities-backed crypto trading venue EDX Markets. He left Goldman in 2022, according to a LinkedIn profile.
• Justin Schmidt, the former head of digital asset markets at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., joined the startup as president and chief operating officer last year. Nathan Allman, who also worked at Goldman, is chief executive.
