Nikkei 225 to Remove Nidec Amid Improper Accounting Issue

Nidec will be removed from the Nikkei 225 index and replaced with Ibiden, Nikkei says in a statement.

• To be removed in accordance with its designation by the Tokyo Stock Exchange as a security on special alert
• Change is effective Nov. 5
