McKinsey Digital Asset Leader Joins Crypto Startup Ondo Finance

Ian De Bode, a partner and leader of digital assets at McKinsey & Co., has left the consulting firm to join crypto startup Ondo Finance Inc. as chief strategy officer.

The New York-based crypto company focuses on tokenization — a term for recording assets such as bonds and US Treasuries on blockchains. De Bode said in an interview that at Ondo, he will help major institutions to bring more assets on the blockchain and enable distributions for “a wider variety of assets” on blockchains.
