Indonesian crypto exchange Indodax says it “discovered a potential security issue on our platform” and is carrying out a system maintenance.
- The statement came after security firms flagged suspicious outflows from the platform on social media platform X
- PeckShield flagged an outflow of crypto worth $15.7 million
- Indodax assured customers that their balances were safe
- Indian crypto exchange WazirX and Japan’s DMM Bitcoin were hacked earlier this year, resulting in losses worth hundreds of millions of dollars
