Galaxy Digital Hires Point72’s Paquette to Serve as CFO (1)

Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. hired Point72 Chief Financial Officer Anthony Paquette to serve in the same capacity at the crypto conglomerate run by billionaire Michael Novogratz.

Paquette served as CFO of Point72, Steven Cohen’s asset management firm, for more than four years. Before then, he was business unit leader at fintech SoFi and managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Alex Ioffe will transition to a senior advisor role at Galaxy starting in January, according to a statement Friday.
