Florida DOR Proposes Amending Rule on Communications Services Tax Reporting Forms

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) proposed amendments to the rule governing public use forms for the Communications Services Tax. The amendments adopt changes to the Florida Communications Services Tax Return (Form DR-700016) to update local tax rates for reporting periods beginning Jan. 2026, remove returns for periods prior to 2025, and provide that the current return applies to reporting periods during calendar year 2025.
