FBI Says North Korea Actors Stole $308 Million From Crypto’s DMM

North Korean hackers stole $308 million from Japanese crypto exchange DMM Bitcoin in May, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.

  • The hack was affiliated with TraderTraitor
  • “In late March 2024, a North Korean cyber actor, masquerading as a recruiter on LinkedIn, contacted an employee at Ginco, a Japan-based enterprise cryptocurrency wallet software company.
