District of Columbia Processes Tax Year 2025 Income Taxes Decoupled From OBBBA

The District of Columbia Chief Financial Officer advised the Mayor and Chairman of the District of Columbia Council that the Office of Tax and Revenue will continue to process tax year 2025 income tax returns based upon the District’s legislation decoupling from the federal One, Big, Beautiful Bill (OBBBA), and will administer the District’s taxes for tax years 2026 and beyond consistent with the OBBBA.
