The flood of crypto money into English football is continuing, providing an influx of new cash for clubs as regulations tighten around gambling sponsorship, a key revenue stream that will soon fade.

Crypto firms have spent a record amount of almost £130 million ($170 million) on deals for the Premier League 2024/25 season, according to sports sponsorship agency SportQuake. That’s likely to increase further, with more partnerships often announced during the season.
