Crypto Firm Ripple Promotes Veteran Monica Long to President

Crypto payments firm Ripple Labs Inc. promoted Monica Long, a 10-year veteran at the company, to president.

Long, who joined Ripple in 2013 as an early employee and was most recently senior vice president and general manager, will work alongside Chief Executive Officer Brad Garlinghouse to oversee its payments network and blockchain development businesses, Ripple said in a statement Friday.
