Crypto ‘Worked’ During Crash, MIT Digital Head Narula Says (1)

Last weekend’s crypto selloff is no cause for panic, according to MIT’s digital currency expert. In fact, it’s proof that the market is operating as designed: experimentally.

“There was a big crash, but it worked,” said Neha Narula, director of the Digital Currency Initiative at the MIT Media Lab, during a Bloomberg Television interview on Wednesday. “We weren’t talking about bailing anyone out, we weren’t talking about having to revert things,” she added in reference to the recent downturn in the cryptocurrency markets.
