Citi Taps Querub to Lead Digital-Assets Group Inside Wealth Unit

Citigroup Inc. promoted Deborah Querub to lead its digital assets group inside its wealth management division as the Wall Street giant continues to seek ways to help wealthy clients bet on crypto.

Querub will oversee the development of products in areas including cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg. She will be based in New York and report to Iain Armitage, Citigroup’s global head of capital markets for the wealth division.

A representative for Citigroup declined to comment.
