Bulgaria Ends Inquiry Against Nexo With No Evidence of Crime

Bulgarian prosecutors canceled the investigation against crypto company Nexo on grounds no evidence of any crime was found, the Prosecutor’s Office in Sofia says in a statement.

• Prosecutors confirm Nexo founders Antoni Trenchev, Kosta Kanchev were among the people charged in the investigation for several crimes, including banking activities without the proper license, as well as tax crimes and computer crimes; prosecutors in Sofia have no evidence that they have committed the crimes
