Binance will withdraw from the Canadian marketplace, the company says in a tweet.
- Cites “new guidance related to stablecoins and investor limits provided to crypto exchanges” that makes the Canada market no longer tenable for the firm
- Firm also says remaining Canadian users will receive an email with information on how the decision will impact their accounts going forward
- Binance said it’s confident it will someday return to to the market when users in Canada “have the freedom to access a broader suite of digital assets”
