The Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) has published Transaction Privilege and Other Tax Rate Tables with changes, effective Nov. 1. The tables outline the updated tax rates for various business activities, including specific rates for medical and adult-use marijuana sales. Adult use marijuana sales are subject to the state’s 5.6 percent transaction privilege tax rate plus applicable county and city taxes, as well as a separate 16 percent marijuana excise tax.
