Arent Fox Stakes a Claim on Metaverse Property

Arent Fox has taken bragging rights as the first big U.S. law firm to enter the metaverse.

The white shoe law and lobbying firm acquired a site this month in the 3D virtual world browser-based platform Decentraland, it said Tuesday. Arent Fox LLP had previously advised PwC LLP when the Big Four consulting and accounting firm, also known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, bought a site in The Sandbox metaverse.
