Court Upholds $3.4 Million Race Bias Verdict Against Dimerco

A Black man whose job offer from Dimerco Express USA Corp. was withdrawn because of his race can keep the $3.4 million in damages he was awarded by a jury, a federal appeals court said.

The lower court didn’t abuse its discretion when it decided to not remit or reduce the damages awarded to Kenny Faulk, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said in a Tuesday opinion.
