United’s Vaccine Mandate Challengers Must Enter Settlement Talks

United Airlines Inc. and a group of employees who alleged religious and disability discrimination in the airline’s mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policy were ordered to try to settle the workers’ federal lawsuit.

Judge Mark T. Pittman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued the mediation order Wednesday. It comes after the judge on Oct. 13 partly granted the workers’ motion for a temporary order blocking the rule while the suit is litigated.
