A legal challenge to the University of Connecticut’s policy requiring students to be vaccinated against Covid-19 failed because the challengers all either received an exemption from the school or didn’t bother applying for one, a federal court in the state said Monday.
UConn announced in June it was requiring students who intend to participate in on-campus activities during the upcoming school year to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Students can apply for medical or non-medical exemptions.
