Texas Hospital Can’t Be Forced to Allow Ivermectin Use for Covid

A Texas hospital can’t be forced to give hospital privileges to a doctor who wants to administer Ivermectin, often used against parasites in livestock, to a man in a medically induced coma prompted by Covid-19, a Texas appeals court ruled.

Law enforcement officer Jason Jones contracted Covid in September and was admitted to Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South five days later. Dr. Jason Seiden treated Jones with steroids and antibiotics, but the patient’s condition worsened, and he was eventually moved to Huguley’s ICU in a medically induced coma.
