Rosen Law Firm to Lead Canadian Cannabis Stockholder Fraud Suit

Rosen Law Firm will serve as lead counsel in a would-be securities fraud class action against Canadian cannabis company Tilray, Inc., according to a federal court filing in Manhattan.

And shareholder Saul Kassin will serve as lead plaintiff after the court concluded he had the most significant financial interest in the suit with a purported loss of more than $2 million, according to the Thursday order.

Kassin, as representative, was presumptively entitled to his choice of lead counsel for the proposed class, Judge Paul A. Crotty wrote for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
