Pfizer Inc. was awarded a U.S. Army contract valued at up to $3.2 billion.

  • U.S. government contract orders made up about 25 percent of the company’s revenue in the four quarters ended Dec. 2021

Following is the text from the Defense Department announcement:

Pfizer Inc. is awarded a $3.20 billion firm-fixed-price contract to manufacture, store and deliver mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Work will be performed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2023. Fiscal 2022 American Rescue Plan Act, Defense Production Act funds in the amount of $3.20 billion were obligated at the time of the award. ...
