FDA’s Hahn Says Covid-19 Therapeutics Pipeline Is Robust

Stephen Hahn, the head of FDA, says at coronavirus task force briefing that there are more than 144 active trials of therapeutic agents for Covid-19.

• Hahn says he expects readouts of those trials in late summer or early fall
• He also says four vaccines have been approved to go into clinical trials, another six are in the pipeline
  • Says FDA won’t cut corners to approve vaccine
