Carnival Settles Covid Lawsuit by Quarantined Cruise Passengers

Carnival Corp. and Princess Cruise Lines Ltd. settled a lawsuit on Tuesday brought by passengers who had to be quarantined at an Air Force base in California due to an outbreak of Covid-19 on board the Grand Princess.

Robert Archer and other passengers sued Carnival and Princess in April of 2020, seeking at least $5 million in damages. The settlement terms were not included in the joint stipulation filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
