On Sept. 9, 2021, President Joe Biden announced a sweeping mandate for companies with 100 or more workers: require your employees to be vaccinated or test them for Covid-19 weekly. The mandate, which is estimated to cover 80 million workers, created controversy and raised questions. What authority does the administration have to mandate vaccination or testing? What legal challenges is the mandate likely to face?
