Allstate Accused by Roberto Clemente Jr. of Contract Bias (1)

Allstate Insurance Co. discriminated against Roberto Clemente Jr. and his family based on race after they purchased a franchise in Pittsburgh, including telling them they couldn’t use the famous Clemente name in their business name, a federal lawsuit charges.

The suit alleges race discrimination in contracting and employment. It also asserts breach of contract and various tort claims against Allstate and other defendants.
