Erickson Cos. agreed to pay about $555,000 to resolve allegations the Arizona-based construction company should’ve been better prepared for a November 2024 data breach.
Under the deal, $225,000 would go to a common fund to reimburse the class of about 11,820 employees and their beneficiaries who may have had their personal information compromised in the breach. The motion for preliminary approval filed Oct. 31 in the US District Court for the District of Arizona said class members would get a pro rata cash payment plus additional money for documented losses.
