Wells Fargo Leads $1.45 Billion Financing for New York Tower (1)

Brookfield Property Partners LP is close to obtaining a $1.45 billion loan to build an office skyscraper near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.

The financing deal for 2 Manhattan West -- at Ninth Avenue and 31st Street -- is being led by Wells Fargo & Co. and may close next month, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing a private matter.

ING Groep NV, Bank of China Ltd., Standard Chartered Plc, Toronto-Dominion Bank and HSBC Holdings Plc are also in the lending group, the people said.
