WilmerHale Outreach to U. of Michigan Sex Assault Victims Halted

The WilmerHale law firm, hired by the University of Michigan to investigate sexual assault allegations involving Dr. Robert Anderson, was ordered not to contact potential class members pending a hearing in the Eastern District of Michigan on its purpose and how it might impact information gathering and resolution of the claims.

“Defendants are ordered to immediately cease all direct communications with potential class members with potential claims against the defendants, until further order of the court,” the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said Wednesday.
