Whole Foods Hit With Suit Over Non-Disclosure of Food Allergens

Whole Foods Market Inc. failed to properly disclose allergens in numerous prepared food and store brand products, a new proposed class suit in New York federal court alleges.

Millions of Americans with food allergies and sensitivities shop at Whole Foods because they expect that as “the preeminent purveyor of natural and organic foods” it won’t compromise their safety, Howard Akridge says in a suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
