Whole Foods Customer Can Pursue ‘No Antibiotics’ Deception Suit

Whole Foods Market Inc. still faces a proposed class suit alleging it misleads consumers into paying a premium price for meat that’s deceptively portrayed as antibiotic-free, following a judge’s decision that one of three plaintiffs has standing to sue.

California resident Peymon Khaghani showed financial injury and offered enough detail to support his consumer protection and warranty claims, the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
