Wayfair Accused of Selling Bedbug-Infested Mattresses

E-commerce retailer Wayfair sold mattresses, bedframes, and headboards it knew were infested with bedbugs, a new class action alleges.

Lekisha Nicholas claims the company has known about the problem since at least June 2016 due to customer complaints, but continues to sell the infested products to unsuspecting customers.

In addition to the costs required to fumigate homes and destroy contaminated furniture, bedbug infestations can cause allergic reactions, rashes, infections, and insomnia, Nicholas claims.
