Vivid Seats to Pay $7.5 Million to Settle Covid Refund Claims

Vivid Seats LLC will pay $7.5 million to settle claims it failed to issue full refunds for shows canceled due to the coronavirus under the terms of a proposed settlement filed in the Northern District of Illinois.

The proposed class of purchasers alleges the ticket reseller violated its 100% guarantee by failing to provide a full cash refund for all amounts including fees paid for tickets to canceled or constructively canceled events for which there is no rescheduled date.
