Tyler Technologies Inc. employees who allege they were wrongly exempted from a California labor rule for technical workers and denied overtime and other California labor law guarantees won partial class certification in federal court.
Former Tyler employee Aaron Kudatsky sued the company in 2019, alleging it wrongly classified him as administratively exempt from overtime and other state laws. Kudatsky worked as an implementation consultant, training clients to use Tyler’s various business operations software products.
