Trump University $25M Deal Upheld on Appeal

The $25 million class settlement between Donald Trump and former students of his namesake university was upheld by a federal appeals court.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Feb. 6 affirmed a district court’s approval of the settlement, rejecting a challenge by a lone objector.

The settlement resolves claims by a class of Trump University alumni who say they were duped by false promises of riches and instant success in the real estate industry.
