The Federal Savings Bank to Face Class Suit Over Kickback Scheme

A lawsuit alleging The Federal Savings Bank accepted kickbacks in exchange for referring mortgage borrowers to now defunct Genuine Title LLC has been granted class status, according to a U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland ruling.

Plaintiff D’Alan E. Baugh will serve as the class representative. Smith Gildea & Schmidt LLC and Joseph Greenwald & Laake PA will serve as class counsel.
