TCPA Settlement Against Citizens Bank Gets Preliminary Go-Ahead

A federal judge in California gave preliminary approval for a $4.55 million settlement of Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) claims against Citizens Bank (Sanders v. RBS Citizens N.A., S.D. Cal., 13-cv-03136, preliminary approval 7/1/16).

In a July 1 order entered July 5, Judge Cynthia Bashant of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California said the proposed settlement “falls within the range of reasonableness meriting possible final approval.”
