Sirius XM Radio Hit With Class Action Over Telemarketing Calls

Sirius XM Radio made telemarketing calls to consumers on the national Do-Not-Call Registry without their consent in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state telemarketing laws, a new proposed federal class action said.

Julie Campbell, Keith Sadauskas, Diana Bickford and Kerrie Mulholland alleged that Sirius has been making telemarketing calls to them for years despite the fact that their numbers are on the registry or that they’ve told the company they don’t want to receive the calls.

Sirius has paid $60 million over the past five years to settle two separate class actions alleging violations of the TCPA. ...
