Samsung Sued Over Shattering Camera Glass in Galaxy S20 Phones

Samsung’s Galaxy S20 smartphones, although touted as equipped with professional-grade cameras, have flawed rear camera glass that can shatter suddenly, limiting their functionality and potentially causing physical harm, a proposed class lawsuit in federal court in New Jersey alleges.

Consumers sued Samsung Electronics America Inc. Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging they had to pay to repair broken camera glass or replace their phones.
